NOTE: Both cookies and javascript must be enabled in your browser. If one of these features is disabled, you won't be able to use PressWise. If either of the tests fail, please follow the instructions below.
How to Enable JavaScriptSafari
Open Safari
Click on "Edit" (or the "Safari" tab on a Mac)
Select "Preferences"
In the "Preferences" window, select the "Security" tab
In the "Security" tab section "Web content" mark the "Enable JavaScript" checkbox
Close "Preference"
Click on the "Reload the current page" button of the web browser to refresh the page
Chrome
Open Chrome
Select the icon toward the top right of the browser
Select "Settings"
In the "Settings" section, click on the "Show advanced settings..." link at the bottom
In the "Privacy" section, click on "Content settings..."
In the "JavaScript" section, click on the "Allow all sites to run JavaScript (recommended)" radio button
Click "Done"
Close the "Settings" tab
Click on the "Reload this page" button of the web browser to refresh the page
Firefox
Open Firefox
In the address bar, type about:config
Press Enter
In the search box, search for "javascript.enabled"
Toggle the "javascript.enabled" preference (right-click and select "Toggle" or double-click the preference) to change the value from "false" to "true"
Firefox 23 and lower
Open Firefox
On the web browser menu, click "Tools"
Select "Options"
In the "Options" window, select the "Content" tab
Mark the "Enable JavaScript" checkbox
In the opened "Options" window click on the "OK" button to close it
Click on the "Reload current page" button of the web browser to refresh the page
Internet Explorer
Open Internet Explorer
On web browser menu click "Tools"
Select "Internet Options"
In the "Internet Options" window, select the "Security" tab
On the "Security" tab click on the "Custom level..." button
When the "Security Settings - Internet Zone" dialog window opens, look for the "Scripting" section
In the "Active Scripting" item select "Enable"
When the "Warning!" window pops out asking "Are you sure you want to change the settings for this zone?" select "Yes"
In the "Internet Options" window, click on the "OK" button to close it
Click on the "Refresh" button of the web browser to refresh the page
How to Enable CookiesSafari
Open Safari
Click on "Edit" (or the "Safari" tab on a Mac)
Select "Preferences"
In the "Preferences" window, select the "Privacy" tab
In the "Privacy" tab section "Block cookies and other website data" mark the "Never" or "From third parties and advertisers" checkbox
Close "Preference"
Click on the "Reload the current page" button of the web browser to refresh the page
Chrome
Open Chrome
Select the icon toward the top right of the browser
Select "Settings"
In the "Settings" section, click on the "Show advanced settings..." link at the bottom
In the "Privacy" section, click on "Content settings..."
In the "Cookies" section, click on the "Allow local data to be set (recommended)" radio button
Click "Done"
Close the "Settings" tab
Click on the "Reload this page" button of the web browser to refresh the page
Firefox
Open Firefox
At the top of the Firefox window, click on the "Tools"
Select "Options..."
Select the "Privacy" panel
Make sure "Accept cookies from sites" is selected
Make sure Accept third party cookies is selected.
Click on the "Reload this page" button of the web browser to refresh the page
Internet Explorer 9+
Open Internet Explorer
Click on the gear-wheel icon at the top right
Click "Internet Options"
Change to the "Privacy" tab
Set the slider to "Medium"
Click "OK". to close it
Click on the "Refresh" button of the web browser to refresh the page
